KEY #3: GATHERING WITH OTHER CHRISTIANS!

Now that you are a Christian you are a member of a really big family that is called the Church.

It’s super important that now you gather with other members of the church family.

Think of it this way, the Church is like coals in a hot barbecue pit. If a coal is isolated, it grows cold, but when together with other coals, it burns hotter! (Acts 2:42-26; Hebrews 10:25; John 13:34-35; I Thess. 5:11; Phil. 2:4)

Your growth as a Christian will happen best when you are connected to other Christians, because we need each other!

The Bible says, “And  let us  consider  one  another  in  order  to  stir  up  love  and good  works,  not  forsaking  the  assembling  of  ourselves together,  as  in  the  manner  of  some,  but  exhorting one another,   and   so   much   more   as   you   see   the   Day  approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Every Christian needs a local church were they gather regularly. It’s been calculated that there are over thirty commands in the Bible that are impossible to honor without being a part of a church family. It is our prayer that you make Rise your home church!
