Our Pastor

Pastor Greg Denham grew up in Southern California and became a Christian at the age of sixteen. At the age of twenty, Pastor Chuck Smith invited Greg to be on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He was ordained at twenty one.

At twenty-four, Greg became the Senior Pastor of a growing and influential Calvary Chapel in Northern California- spearheading yearly regional evangelistic outreaches, that culminated in large-scale evangelistic crusades impacting thousands at Arco Arena in Sacramento.

Greg has been a national conference speaker at the Billy Graham Training Center, “The Cove”.

A featured evangelist at a Billy Graham sponsored Crusade in Shillong, India.

Along with Ambassadors from Israel and South Korea, Greg was a featured speaker commemorating the life of evangelical William Blackstone (called the “Father of Zionism” by Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis).

More recently, in the aftermath of Oct 7th - on January 1st, 2024 - Pastor Greg led an evangelical delegation to Israel (in conjunction with the Foreign Affairs of Israel), in support of Israel who are on the frontlines of the enemy of humanity seeking the destruction of Western Civilization.

Greg is the author of “God’s Design for Dating, Love and Sex”, “A Progress Plan” and “Staying On Target” (with endorsements from Alistair Begg, Franklin Graham and Kent Hughes) and the discipleship series, “Get Started” and “Get Launched”. His newest book, “Rediscovering The Original Jesus Movement (How 1st Century Context Clarifies God’s Plan & Course Corrects The Church Today)”. New York Times best seller, Eric Metaxas writes, “Greg Denham is onto something HUGE in this book!”

He has written articles for OneForIsrael, AllIsraelNews and the ChristianPost and can be seen on “World News Briefing” on HisChannel.

Greg is the founder of “The Context Movement” purposed to inspire a generation of leaders to rediscover the context in which the Gospel was first preached in Jerusalem, that provides a lens to more clearly understand the unfolding plan of God, the Scriptures as a whole, and to equip the church for more effective evangelism in the 21st Century global community. https://thecontextmovement.com/
